The Nettie Lokey Wiley and Charles L. Wiley Foundation
The Foundation supports schools, libraries, museums, child development, healthcare, and cultural enrichment programs for pre-school through third grade students in Lancaster County. The Funding Research Center at Williamsburg Regional Library is intended to assist area nonprofit organizations in their search for funding opportunities as well as to provide “how to” information about developing and administering a fund raising program.

This grant, established by dosomething.org, is given to individuals who desire to start a community action project or program. A $500 award is given out every week.
National Trust for Historic Preservation
The National Trust Preservation Fund of the National Trust for Historic Preservation offers several types of financial assistance to nonprofit organizations, public agencies, for-profit companies, and individuals involved in preservation-related projects. In 2005, through the National Trust Preservation Fund, we provided almost $17 million in financial assistance and direct investment to support preservation in cities, towns, and rural areas all over the United States.
Harry Chapin Foundation
These open ended grants support for nonprofit organizations that have demonstrated their ability to dramatically improve the lives and livelihood of people by helping them to become self-sufficient. The focus areas are community education programs that identify community needs and mobilize resources to meet them.
Good Works Institute
These open ended grants provide support for small nonprofit organizations. Grants are provided to organizations that are working toward the health and welfare of children, and the preservation of the environment.
Farmers Insurance Corporate Contributions Program
Grants are generally provided to organizations that address education; children and youth, including youth sports; safety; health and human services; civic participation, and arts and culture. Amount: $500 – $30,000. Requests are reviewed quarterly. Open ended. Contact: 888-327-6335.

They provide technology products and information geared specifically to the unique challenges faced by nonprofits and libraries.
