“Burn the Mortgage” BBQ Fundraiser

Everyone would like to be mortgage free, and you can help Rice’s Hotel / Hughlett’s Tavern by eating BBQ on Saturday, Oct. 6th, 3:30 to 6:30 pm!
Tickets are $25 ($30 at the gate), which includes BBQ pulled pork, sausage & chicken, made by our own BBQ Master, Sid Mace, plus hors d’oeuvres, salads & baked beans, desserts and soft drinks. Beer and wine sold separately.
Our entertainment this year will be provided by “Bill & Pam Gurley and ‘Fiddlesticks’ – they know how to put on a show! So you can party under the “Big Top” until the sun goes down!
This fundraiser is being put on by the volunteers of Rice’s Hotel / Hughlett’s Tavern in order to raise money to help pay off the Tavern’s mortgage. A local historic landmark since the late 1700’s, Rice’s Hotel / Hughlett’s Tavern is located at 73 Monument Place in Heathsville, just off Route 360 behind the old Northumberland Courthouse.
